Lighting Guides
Short, practical notes on rooms, scale, and layered light—so every fixture feels considered, not guessed.

How to use these guides
Each guide is short and visual. Use them when you are planning a chandelier, comparing warm and cool light, or deciding how many layers a living room really needs. Photos and details will grow here over time.

Rooms

Fit
Dining table: fixture about one-half to two-thirds the table width; hang so the bottom sits roughly 30–34 in (76–86 cm) above the table. Open room: chandelier diameter (inches) ≈ room length + width (feet). Pendants in a row: even gaps, bottoms aligned. Wall lights: near eye level in halls; beside mirrors, frame the face.
Ask about your roomLayers
The overall glow—ceiling light, flush mount, or a generous chandelier.
Light for doing—island pendants, reading lamps, vanity sconces.
A smaller note on art, shelves, or texture so the room has depth.
Finish

Voltage
Most U.S. and Canadian homes use 110–120V. Many fixtures list a Voltage option on the product page—choose 110–120V for North America, or 220–240V when that matches your country. Universal ranges (for example 100–240V) work across both; still confirm the plug and local code with your electrician.
